As a few reviews have stated, I thought it was a horror anti christian movie but alas, it was a very thought-provoking movie about Christianity. it throws a lot of discussion of Christian apologetics, something a matured christian should not shy away from. this is a real classic script and definitely rivals 'Doubt'and Çrucible. what was surprising this is not a novel but written by the director. amazing work.
I am not a ethan hawke fan but this guy can actually act. I was surprised by amanda also, tackling such a complicated role.
Very heart wrenching, controversial and pay attention to the words spoken.
Downside : the villian is climate change??? a bit cliche I thought. there are other more human issues to address.
