Whether it was Neil Armstrong or the Ryan Gosling portraying him I found "First Man" boring from beginning to almost end (the lift off and moon walk still gives goose bumps). I didn't think Gosling had the physical look for a 1960's astronaut or the presence.
It is hard for me to see that Damien Chazzle directed the emotional LaLaLand and Whiplash and directed this movie, so unemotional.
