Fair at best. Let me go down the list:

-Considering this is 2018 special effects can run just about any movie. They are good here, but considering we are speaking of the first space flight to the moon. Not all that.

-I agree with other writers. The movie never touches the emotion of this engineering and technology event. It is...well...just like a non-emotional story..that most people know most of the story already. Its like "yeah well OK we are going to the moon". It was much more than that.

-Funny scene. Right or wrong 99.99% of NASA engineers were white males then. They show one African-American male in the control room for a mili-second. Too funny. Trying to check the box of "non-racist" any way they can.

-Giving some of the movie away, they show scenes of going to and landing on the moon. The next scene they were in quarantine. Ah, I think there was a long trip back and splashdown in the pacific. Maybe that was not important.

-Probably, the worst error in this movie, historically. No showing them planting the American flag on the moon. They (Armstrong and Aldrin) did this to show national pride and all the American work that went into the Apollo project. But possibly in this movie and of a younger generation, they want to try to erase that also. Very, Very sad.

-I was honored and fortunate to meet Neil Armstrong in 2011. My vote: This movie does very little to honor this great American man.
