Review of First Man (2018) by Tropicaces — 11 Oct 2018
Neil Armstrong is an American hero, Ryan Gosling is a great actor and Damien Chazelle is one of the best directors working today. But none of these things lend themselves to the simple, personal approach taken to an event of this magnitude.
I really wanted to love this movie, but so much of it just didn’t work..
