Review of Firecreek (1968) by Anis T — 02 Dec 2007
This film wasn't liked too much by alot of people, when first released. They all thought that it was an attempt to remake the classic western High Noon. Which it does have the same plot, but I absolutely loved this one.
The plot revolves around this town getting invaded by a pile of crooks: Henry Fonda, Jack Elam, James Best.....etc. And Stewart, being the sheriff of the town, tries to stop them. Good direction, and acting.
This film was one of the better westerns made in the late 60's. Check it out.
