Review of Find Me Guilty (2006) by Hugh J — 12 Mar 2008
Wow, talk about underrated. This movie was fucking awesome. The whole mob angle coupled with the comedic one-liners gave me a 'My Cousin Vinny' (the ironing is delicious) vibe which I loved. Vin Diesel gives his best performance ever.
He's badass, funny and even gave some genuine emotion during his closing arguments. Peter Dinklage who usually scares the shit out of me is so much better when he's playing the good guy. The chemistry he had with Vin Diesel was friggin' great.
When the asshole prosecutor makes a remark at Diesel and Dinklage just pats him on the arm to calm him down without looking, I laughed for a solid five minutes. Lots of great moments, an enjoyable script and Vin Diesel at his most charismatic plays a loveable, optimistic tough guy who you just gotta respect.
I loved the shit out of this movie.
