This movie is based on true story and the event portrayed here has recently also been told about a little bit in the National Geographic TV series: Inside the American Mob. This is a completely different type of movie for Vin Diesel as there is no action whatsoever and the whole plot depends on the character's character.

Not really a comedy, but more of a drama as it is a biography, there are a few funny scenes, but Vin does a great job at portraying a mob guy who not only won't rat out on his friends, but has genuine love for the people close to him, and is also not guilty for the crime he is being charged for.
