Review of Final Girl (2015) by The H — 26 Jul 2015

I don't know how such a professional actress like Abigail Breslin thought she could get away with playing a specially trained agent when it looks like she's never even taken a cardio kckboxing class. I'm no pro fighter but every time she got in a fighting stance or threw a punch it was hilariously unbelievable.

There's nothing good about the movie. Everyone overacts. No blood or satisfying kills. No twists or turns. Zero suspense. It tries to be artsy on a low budget and fails spectacularly.

If you wanna see a great heroine kick ass in a horror pic, watch You're Next instead.
