Impressive (although somewhat dull) animation, action-packed fight scenes, and a wonderful soundtrack is where this film excels. However, it's the important points where Advent Children falls flat: namely, the characters and the story are mediocre at best, it expects the viewer to be WAY too familiar with every detail of the source material and the whole thing feels overly pretentious.
