Excellent acting... even from Chris Evans (though, it's not a stray from the kind of cocky asshole he normally plays). The plus here is that he's twisted, which isn't something I've seen from him.
Anton Yelchin... not a big stray for him either (i.e. House of D) but another excellent performance adds consistency. Lane and Sutherland were seasoned vets playing very well in an indie film. Things are not as they appear, or as you thing they would be had you been in the situation.
Growing up through the constant loss of innocence. Betrayal and manipulation. Sadism. Not the kinda movie you watch on a date.
