Review of Fierce People (2006) by Stacy S — 16 Apr 2010
Not exactly sure how I feel about this movie. Well acted, entertaining, powerful yet the tone was so weird it just didn't feel right. The subject matter went from comedy to serious drama to nonchalant in minutes.
The ending wasn't very satisfying and it kind of left you hanging. Anton Yelchin was excellent and Diane Lane was hilarious as the mother. It made a point about high society and its culture, yet I just wasn't sure what the overall message was supposed to be.
