Review of Fierce Creatures (1997) by Alex H — 05 Mar 2010
There are some really funny moment, most of them involving John Cleese doing his whole Basil Fawltey thing, but unfortunatly for every time you are left in stitches there is a time where the comedy just doesn't quite fall into place.
The ending is a perfect example of the latter, trying to tie everything together really neatly however in the process over-stretching your suspension of disbelief even when taking into account the estabished quirky charm that should let you run with it.
