Review of Fiend Without a Face (1958) by D. B. R — 11 Mar 2008
A tight, compact little slip of a horror movie. Notable mostly for its crude but groundbreaking gore effects, it also boasts a psychological edge, playing the audience along with the pretense of an atomic age murder mystery, only revealing the monsters of the title in the concluding minutes.
Dated, but above average.
