My mum's favourite movie so maybe I always thought I had been brainwashed into liking it.
However, I caught it one xmas a few years back and realised this would be a great film without the songs, excellent direction by Jewison. then add in the likes of "Tradition", "If I were a rich man", "Sunrise Sunset", etc. and you have a musical masterpiece.
