More amazing trash from the early Water's era. Pink Flamingos was more outrageous in the gross-out shock department, but this movie does feature some even funnier dialogue. Though I personally favor Pink Flamingos over Female Trouble, this is still a must for fans.
I agree with a reviewer below, if Hairspray is your initial frame of reference to John Waters, do a little research before watching this one or Pink Flamingos, or anything John Waters did in the 70's for that matter.
