Review of Female Trouble (1976) by Lester Y — 19 Jul 2010
Inspired by the Manson family, fame through crime is the main theme. This was pretty fun, but clearly lacks the staying power and the shocking kick-in-the-taint effect of Pink Flamingos, but I am aware what an absurd standard I'm holding this movie to. The theme song is oddly catchy.
This also might be the only place you could ever see Edith Massey topless, which Waters describes as "brave" and something he will never allow to be used by anyone else. You go enjoy that.
