Review of Female Trouble (1976) by Peggy — 27 Aug 2008
More professional looking than it's predecessor, Pink Flamingos'. This film covers a lot of ground following the fictitious life and crimes of Dawn Davenport (Divine) from high school runaway right through to her death in the electric chair! This was the first John Waters film I ever saw and it still remains definately one of his best.
Sick, twisted, trashy and as funny as fuck. Worth watching just for the kitsch set designs and fashions alone.
