Review of Female Trouble (1976) by Minna S — 08 Oct 2010
Can't believe I'm writing this but Female Trouble actually is quite good. A lot more entertaining and structured than Multiple Maniacs. For a low budget film with actors that barely can act, this is a masterpiece.
The script is exceptional and Divine leaves all the rest to her massive shade. Totally cheered me up, that's for sure. And whereas I only played a scene or two of Multiple Maniacs to a friend, I'll have to make sure a friend or two watch this entirely.
