Talk about crazy. Fatal Attraction hit the big screens in 1987 creating an instant classic. Michael Douglas plays the husband who decides to have a one night stand during the weekend when his wife and daughter is visiting her parents. He's just perfect for the role. He's the dashing debonair type who one minute can look so competent and charming and in another minute can look clueless and helpless.

Anne Archer another great addition to the cast. Glenn Close is simply the best crazy-stalker actress in the world. I actually don't like casting Close into the role simply because she's not the sexy type. Lets face it, she's not good looking. Hell if I'm married to Anne Archer, I'm never - yah NEVER - going to have a one night stand with Glenn Close. I guess is Angelina Jolie was old enough then, she would really be great for the role. She has the same crazy/stalker tendencies and she's actually very sexy.

Interesting to note that all the major studios passed up the script because the script had the guy committing adultery in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Even the big directors refused it. Eventually, the producers found French director Adrian Lyne.

Great script and great execution overall. This is definitely one classic every DVD enthusiast should have in his collection.
