Wow, this is a film I will not forget anytime soon. A very different take on the classic "coming of age" genre, this film had me from the first scene with it's realistic portrayal of two very different teenage sisters. Loved Breillat's direction...the first "bedroom" scene was so uncomfortably realistic I was caught off guard. Absolutely not a film for everyone, but I'd recommend it to anyone willing to catch something completely different.
Bold and haunting.
