Review of Fat City (1972) by Matt M — 01 Mar 2009
The past and the future meet in two boxers who both strive for success in their endevors. Like a window to the lower-middle class 70s CA, their lives are peppered in racial tensions, financial and relationship woes, and their boxing goals.
Good performances by the cast accent Huston's great direction.
