Review of Fat City (1972) by Caleb C — 19 Jan 2011
A good film. Not amazing, though. If you're not into boxing, a lot of these scenes may feel a bit too drawn out and lame comparied to other boxing films which are far greater. The acting however is what really stands out here and are oscar worthy in every way.
If anything watch this old classic for the acting/character study and also to see one of Jeff Bridges first performances that may have got him noticed.
