Review of Fast Food Nation (2006) by Michael H — 07 Jun 2009
Uh well. If you call this movie "eye-opener", you're naive, idiot, or both.
I was expecting para-document or some kind of dark comedy. What I got was story about people exploiting people(subject waaaaaaaay used), how new america is nothing like the old america(No Country For the Old Man was better), and that corporations are evil and youth should rebel. Nothing really touching, nothing really original. The best part of it was probably Ethan Hawke cameo.
Oh, one more thing, I just have to say it - You wanna fries with your shitburger? Enjoy your Big Macs.
