Review of Farewell My Concubine (1993) by Romita S — 02 Nov 2007
One of the most painfully beautiful movies ever made. Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing is so mesmerizing in this story of two childhood friends as it spands over 50 years of their life with China's political changes as it's background.
Moving and heart wrenching. This is Chen Kaige's master piece.
