Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Sasha P — 24 Jan 2019

I haven't been that invested in a movie in a while! I don't understand the critics, the story isn't difficult to follow, everything you need to know (for now) is well explained during the movie.

It will probably captivate more the people who are familiar with harry potter as they will have a better understanding of the impact that some revelations have on the wizarding world. After all it's completely normal as it is the 10th movie in this universe.

The portrayal by Jude Law of young Dumbledore is (surprisingly) exceptional! Ezra Miller/ Credence is as captivating as in the first movie. Newt is a perfectly hufflepuffy protagonist that moves away from the stereotypes of your usual main character.

Grindelwald could almost convince you that his bad intentions are pure. Leta Lestrange is such an interesting dramatic character. The zouwu is a new magnificient beast. Please go see it without being influenced by the critics and make your own opinion.
