Review of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) by Sinead K — 24 Nov 2018

Umm, to sum it in one word - disappointing. The only thing that helps carry this is Eddie Redmayne's excellent Newt. Saying that Jude Law and Johnny Depp were great in their supporting roles. Starts well and the graphics are stunning but God knows what was going on in the writers's department as the plot was confusing and dull, and felt very much like an uninspired filler film.

Saying that the characters's are captured quite well bar the forced and nonsensical decision of one towards the end. A good opening and ending but a pretty poor middle. Let's hope they pick up the quality for the next movie.
