Review of Fanny and Alexander (1982) by Stephen H — 15 Mar 2009
Bergman's farewell. The perspectives of the children and the adults are contrasted well, as is the change in circumstance after the father's death. The magical/ethereal aspects of the film add to the film, giving a dreamlike quality to the proceedings.
I will definitely watch it again.
