Review of Fahrenheit 9/11 (2004) by Connor C — 23 Mar 2012
"George Orwell once wrote that, 'It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is, victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignoranceâ¦'" That is part of the closing quote of the film, and it sums everything up quite accurately.
Once again, Moore provides brutal shock and awe treatment. Sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic, mainly horrifying, and constantly revealing. If you're like me, a George Bush hater, you will like this film.
If you are a skeptic cuz you never know what is the truth and what is "the truth," you should sit down and watch this film. If you are in love with George Bush and all/most of the decisions his administration made, boy, are you in for a rude awakening.
Abre los ojos.
