Turturro's light, preposterous, fantastical Allenesque whimsy places ageing nerdy males in unlikely sexual/romantic liaisons with classy women way out of their league. Slow, paceless and derivative story lumpily prosecuted through badly delivered and possibly improvised dialogue.
Dull almost beyond belief.
