Review of Faces in the Crowd (2011) by Zoë P — 24 Nov 2011
So, really the only people that will watch this movie are Milla Jovovich fans seeing as how she is the main character. This was true for me and from what I gathered by reading the reviews it was the same for them too.
This was by far not the greatest movie Milla has ever been in, but it was definitely not her worst. Yes, I know at times the movie's plot was a little bit too unbelievable and the characters were almost too cliche to bear, but I did find the storyline interesting.
No, this movie is not a horror movie, but is instead a thriller. I was impressed on the CG that was used to make the changing faces affect, it was something I was not expecting to come out so well. The suspense scenes were okay but I was not on the edge of my seat or anything like that.
Also, the plot was sooo predictable. I knew who Tearjerk Jack was not long after his character was introduced into the film. Also, there is very little profanity, but so much sex. The rating said that it just had sexuality, but there at least four sex scenes in the entire film.
Overall, the film was not that bad. Really I would only reccommned it for Milla Jovovich fans.
