This movie was very savagely and ruthlessly condemned by critics, this film is undeserving of those brutal reviews... however, the film is still admittedly flawed. The lead performances from McGregor and Judd are pitch perfect, and the stylish direction by Elliot is captivating, but the plot itself is muddled and unfocused, going in several directions at once, making it difficult to determine what exactly the film is trying to say.
