Although dated by effects, this family adventure about three boys who are determined to discover the secrets of the universe is still a highly enjoyable picture. A young Ethan Hawke stars as the space obsessed boy, who discovers the secret to building a space craft with his friends.
Good, clean, (if a little silly), all round fun from director Joe Dante.
