An 80s cult family film, which was vaguely successfully and memorable for River Phenix's performance. Three boys on a un-worldly adventure . It's a sweet little film which looks very dated and very cheesy.
Special effects aren't the strong point here....it's all about the acting and the personal journey's the kids go on. The aliens are funny and the ending is very cliche.. Overall all, it's entertaining enough for a one-time watch. The characters are a bit annoying the story drags on for far to long.
