Review of Exorcist: The Beginning (2004) by Cristián M — 18 Nov 2007
Oh come on... this movie had fantastic gory and shock scenes. The beginning in that huge valley of crucified people, the scene with the african kid and the hyaenas and the ambiance in the abandone church. The rest is totally utter crap with cliché and predictable "jumpy" scenes and other cheap resources. The acting is horrible except for Skarsgard's and the actual exorcism is terrible.
The idea was good but it was handled in such a childish way that it ended being a less than average movie.
