Despite what others have said, there is definitely still an element of tongue in cheek ridiculousness to this film, I at least had a few giggles. It is an excellent re-make, effects and acting are very, very good.
Satisfyingly bizarre gore and nastiness. If you go at it with an open mind, rather than comparing it to the original too much you will enjoy it for the tacky ott action and hardcore gore fest that it is.
