Fascinating cultural study. The U.S. has certainly had its own cultural negative clusterfucks, but I couldn't believe the cultural insanity that apparently happened to Australia over this case. I still don't totally get it.

Is the dingo like Australia's national symbol or something? I can't figure out why so many were unwilling to believe a hungry wild animal of wolf size couldn't believed as to having taken a baby.

Is like the American equivilent of what would happen if an American bald eagle would snatch a baby? The "evidence" against Lindy is so shaky, if that's really the best they could do, shame on their legal system for allowing such prejudice of the woman to be enough for her to be actually convicted.
