Review of Everyone Says I Love You (1996) by Giacomo M — 13 Jan 2008
Funny musical comedy. Surely not the best movie Allen ever made but very enjoyable. The songs are beautiful (by Cole Porter, Rogers-Harz etc.). It's the perfect movie if you want to hear Woody Allen or Julia Roberts or Goldie Hawn to sing with their surely-not -perfect voices :D There are surely very funny jokes and situations (like the republican son or the crew of spirits singing and dancing "Enjoy yourself! It's later than you think!") and in the cast Drew Barrymore seems in very good form.
Side note: the most incredible thing is to see Julia Roberts and Woody Allen jogging in a desert Venice! I've never seen someone jogging in Venice! And no one in the streets...
