Review of Everyone Says I Love You (1996) by Nishkarsh K — 20 Feb 2010

Woody Allen's take on the movie musical is one of the most insanely uneven and charming films you will see. The performances and the characters and dialogue are absolutely fantastic. While it totally fails on the musical level, the numbers are still full of whimsy and the humor is as witty and clever as anything Allen has written.

(The bits with Drew Barrymore swallowing jewelry and courting a convict are priceless).
