Review of Everyone Says I Love You (1996) by Daniel A — 27 Nov 2011
A nice throwback to the classic Hollywood musical, made with verve and chic style by Woody Allen, and featuring the star-studded cast of its year. Granted none of these A-listers can really sing all that well, but most can carry enough of a tune to make it through unscathed.
It's typically Allen, though sorely lacking a point, or any depth for that matter, but for many that will hardly matter as magical moments like the final number between Allen and a floating Goldie Hawn make the whole experience worthwhile.
A fun but forgettable glossy musical.
