Review of Every Day (2018) by Happy L — 03 Mar 2018
In Midnight in Paris, the car door opens, and we are invited to hop in and take a Midnight ride. So it is with the abstraction known a A in Every Day. I see the poor reviews here and I see my problem. I couldn't get away from the potential plot turns available to the story using the device known as A.
The story settles down into a nice love story after opening doors and looking into various peoples heads. It could have gone a lot differently, but didn't. I liked the movie. Every Day breaks out of the high school city of hormone bubbles and ends up on a more sophisticated plane.
I feel like George Costanza getting caught snatching a chocolate eclair out of the trash can at a party. But that's ok, I'm good with it.
