Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Paul B — 02 Dec 2009
An absolute cult classic! What starts out as a creepy empty space ship movie, builds some clever intrigue (despite numerous plot holes and some under-developed characters) and then goes completely bonkers in the 2nd half and somehow manages to be enjoyable! Sam Neill is clearly in his element, and Fishburne goes a solid pre-Matrix performance.
One that belongs in every DVD collection.
