Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Oliver C — 31 Dec 2012

If it weren't for lacking character development this would be a five star movie. Strong performances, beautiful set design, and above average models and set design create a haunting atmosphere and once Anderson pulls the rip cord the action doesn't stop.

I wish the studio had left his original cut intact. More violence may have been excessive, but it would have been worth it to see the characters developed a bit better in the first act.
