A sci-fi that thinks its smarter than it actually is. "Event Horizon" is like "2001: A Space Odyssey" if you filled it full of plot holes and non-sense. It's mostly special effects which are ehh.
If the movie wanted to be a over-the-top sci-fi it should've tried harder to do so, maybe then it would have been fun.
