Review of Event Horizon (1997) by Matt M — 15 Jul 2011
This has become somewhat of a cult film, which generally means it isn't very good and is only liked for ironic reasons.
It has it's moments but overall it just doesn't work.
The acting is poor, which is odd considering some of the talent involved and the fast paced 'visions of Hell' sequences are probably the best thing about the film.
Could possibly have been better if the makers hadn't crumbled to studio pressure and cut so much out.
