Review of Escape from New York (1981) by Peter B — 02 Apr 2010
So bad it's good, Escape from New York is one of John Carpenter's best movies. It's one of those defining early 80's action movies, with Kurt Russel playing Snake Plissken. Plissken is so badass he puts Chuck Norris to tears.
It's just an all around awesome action movie.
