Review of Escape from New York (1981) by Jonny C — 10 Jan 2012
In the early 80's one of the best actor, director partnerships was John Carpenter and Kurt Russell. But for some reason Carpenter became crap after Russell went mainstream.
As for Escape from New York, this is one of their best. Very dark, with a great story and a wonderful central character.
