Review of Escape from L.A. (1996) by Stephen O — 23 Feb 2012
Not as good as Escape from New York, but watchable. Some early CGI that really looks dated and fake beyond belief. Russell knows this character well (he should, he co-wrote the movie) and is charismatic.
The acting is below average and the plot has large holes. Just watch without a critical eye and you'll find you can enjoy this.
