Review of Escape from L.A. (1996) by Duncan L — 13 Aug 2010
The return of Snake Plissken. The sequel to Escape From New York is entirely a different story, one that has a similar tale with the first film. Once again, the reluctant anti-hero is caught once again and rescue the President of United States that was caught is now in a maximum security prison in Los Angeles.
Although many felt this is a rework of the original, nothing much new is offered and what you have seen before in the first film is similar to here. Still, it is as much enjoyable as the first it could have been better.
