Oh, boy, is this film stupid. It's seems I review a lot of stupid films that are just fun to watch. What's the problem with the this film? It's exactally the same as the first. John Carpenter can't write sequels. Halloween 2 is exactally the same as the first one.
The CGI is some of the worst I've ever seen. The FX team don't even try. It's like the did one layer and thought "Done it! Now give us the money!". Where they on strike? Was there a problem with the computers? WHAT WAS IT?
Although, Kurt Russell's great as Snake, the action scenes are good, the music is awesome (I actually like the theme tune to this film better than the first) and there's even a funny commentary on LA itself, what with terrorism and plastic surgery.
It's not better than the first, but it's just fun. Carpenter was planning to make a third film "Escape From Earth." But that's not gonna happen due to the poor box office results of this film. Although it does have it's cult following. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
