Review of Eraserhead (1977) by James A — 26 May 2011
This is possibly the worst film I have ever seen. There isn't even any false hope of happiness, prosperity or positivity. They have all been completely eradicated. Many horror films toy with the audience, giving them a taste of positivity, before brutally taking it away from them.
Eraserhead doesn't ever contemplate this and is just plain brutal.
